Great to see some action.

But don't trade with 20 cars in sim. It messes up your mind. Completely.

It's nice to see those big numbers, but remember they can be big in the red too. You only trade 20 cars when your account is big enough for 20 car. So if you say $10.000 for 1 contract traders, that's an account of $200.000, even some say (including me) that on CL you need at least $25.000 for a 1 or 2 car trader, that means what ? Trading 20 cars on CL put's you into the $250.000 to $500.000 account traders. Are you going to be that wgreenie ? honestly ?

The problem is when you pull those big numbers you think you can do it with a small account, it's possible, but take my word for it, it will not happen.

Don't go there wgreenie, you will one day take the risque of trading big lots with small accounts and it will be BOOM! gone !

No worries MetalTrade. I only did mega-lot trades for half an hour yesterday. I consider myself a logical person .. already switched back to 1- and 2-contract ones today.

Is it possible to stablize the MT4 DOM so that it will not move? When CL is moving, it's challenging to place a trade at the price I want to enter. My guess is No. Maybe the experts know and please drop me a line. Thank you.

Thanks for your tips MetalTrade. Just noticed the Dom Properties tab and changed Auto-Track to Centered (from Smooth). It's not moving as much now .. what a relief .. made me dizzy ..

...!

agree, learn to be bore because lets face it some days are just not worth trading (and you are all set to trade on that day) either you just sit there staring at the screen or step away doing something else.

I don't know MetalTade. When I click on the "Contract" icon, enclosed is the only option available. Maybe I am fooling myself to change Autotrack to Centered .. still moving .. seemed at a lower speed. Will see when the market opens.

Thanks!

sorry I meant ninjatrader

that is not a static DOM so it's completely useless and trading on it will make your loss bigger, don't use that dom it's a waste of time

why did you moved to another trading program ?

the succes is not in your method or your toolbox, it's YOU YOU YOU!

have you read trading in the zone yet this month ? :-)

good luck

Hi MetalTrade

I signed up for a 4-week program and it's on MT4 platform (no other option). I don't like the platform .. well, only 1.5 weeks left and I will resume using Ninja again.

Beth (I already have the 5 Fundamental Truths and 7 Principles of Consistency ingrained in my petite head .. smile .. Started watching How to Think Like a Professional Trader (4 DVDs).)

that's such a loss of effort and time, why can't you stick to something

again, sorry wgreenie, you're like always 'up to something new' .... please think about it
