This is ProfLogic's stuff, only he uses volume bars and not tick bars. I was never really able to figure out whether he was a scammer or not.

Hi TheSeeker

I don't think ProfLogic is a scammer. He's very generous in sharing his system in his threads. I knocked at his door for help and he responded very promptly with good advice.

I have M6E on and did 2 sim trades. I had no problem in placing a Stop order before its getting triggered. For the second signal, I anticipated its formation and had a Stop order minutes before its breakout. I "almost" forgot about their existence until I heard some chaching sound when SL moved to BE after +4.

Oh, the first one (around 2:05 am) happened to meet my "sleep walking" schedule lol.

Question please:

How can one make a living trading this instrument? It's $1 per pip and believe commission should still be around $5.

Appreciate your sharing. Thank you.

What happened this morning?

1. 6E

It had a good divergence signal seconds before the US bell open. One and only one for this morning.

2. CL

It had 2 good divergence signals. If my brains/fingers did not freeze, I should have enough time to place a market order for both. My fingers were on the Dom yet my brains literally froze for a second or two. I have no clue what's going on?!!

I remembered my racing heart/shaking fingers/red face when a signal was close to formation .. then fear/excitement deciding if I was going to take it. Now I can antipate a good signal's formation .. yet I've been incapable of placing a trade when it touched the entry. Certainly some went straight down/up .. there're always a few that I can catch IF I do not freeze!

I will do research on "brains freeze" .. sigh ..

These CME E-mini forex pairs are undesirable and have little interest. Stick with 6E or try forex.

To get a primer on forex, read the tutorial on babypips.com

You can't scalp them for a few of ticks, you have to be a trend rider, and hang on for 100's of pips.

I would also advise Forex. You can go with PFGBest and trade starting from mini $1 for a pip. Commission is also 10 times lower than a standard forex contract. Moves goes together with the 6E.

It's good practice with real money and doesn't cost a lot. You can have 5 losers on the day and only lost $30.

Or have a few winners and have $50 profit.

I have been following your post since the begining and I must say that scalping is going to be extremely hard. your targets are so small and the commisions are just going to eat away any profits. Do something today, add up your average trades per week. Even if your win loss is 8 out of 10 you still pay commisions on all of them you know what I mean. You must have a risk reward much greater than what I think your going after. It's as simpl as price action, very easy to see if you step back and just watch prices on 30,60,daily chart and enter off a 1,3 5 min.

Hi MetalTrade

Thanks for your suggestion. I tried to locate PFGBest from the Instrument List and it's not there. Maybe you can specify the exact name/code. Thank you.

PFGBest is a broker. I think Metal suggests you to trade mini-lot or micro-lot spot forex.
