It looks like my vote is not being registered: I selected Threadloom "beta" search but the results show 0 votes for that. I tried several times to no avail.

This has been fixed, it was due to the quotation marks. Will investigate further but for now quick fix was removing the "quotes".

I've made an improvement in the popup display for events, so that the database now stores whether or not the popup was shown -- not just a cookie.

This should prevent the following scenario:
- User logs in to computer 1/browser 1, is shown the popup.
- User logs in to computer 2/browser 2 (ie: phone/tablet), again shown the popup.

The popup should simply be shown one time per logged-in user.

This will need some testing/verification, but I believe it is working as intended and will keep an eye on it.

I've fixed a couple more edge case scenarios when it came to user markup (Elite Member/Market Wizard) being displayed in posts.

Please continue to report any issues with your username markup not being correct (for example, username background yellow=Elite, but tile says Market Wizard -- or vice versa).

Thanks to @xplorer for reporting, I've fixed an issue where a handful of banned users who were also Elite Members were not being displayed as banned (in black) in post username markup.

However, the guy in that thread seems to have a chip on his shoulder and is not very receptive to comments that don't reflect his own ideas. (Maybe it is from previous experiences on other forums.)

I was going to comment on his thread but decided to just listen and not stir the pot. Your ability to moderate is much appreciated.

WRT posting in that guys thread --- I say go for it @DavidHP, you are a positive force in this community and we all have good intentions here, some of us maybe have more or less time to try to hand-hold others --- and if you happen to have the time to try and sit down and help this guy, then you (or anyone) should absolutely do it.
