NexusFi site changelog and issues/problem reporting
I decided to enable this simply because of the confusion that is sometimes caused by a post that is removed. 99% of post removals are pure spam. Remaining post removals are almost always removed by the user themselves, not the moderators. But on occasion, a post is removed by a moderator for being rude. The above is an example of that.
Now you can't view the post content of a deleted post, but you can now at least see that a post used to be there.

Now when uploading image attachments to the site, and then inserting the image into the body of a post using the IMG tag, you will no longer see the (duplicate) thumbnail of the image below the post in the attachment area of the post itself.
Old way:
1) Upload image to futures.io (formerly BMT) server.
2) Insert into body of post using IMG tag and the URL of the attachment.
3) IMG showed up in body of post.
4) IMG thumbnail also showed up below post in attachment area.
New way:
1) Upload image to futures.io (formerly BMT) server.
2) Insert into body of post using IMG tag and the URL of the attachment.
3) IMG shows up in body of post.
This seems like a great idea, I've often wondered about that. I have a related question and maybe it's because I just haven't put together the right combination of events, (so be gentle). How come on some posts that are not in the Elite Section but in the "open to the public" threads, there are statements/comments that I am required to register (in my case log in) to view the attachment/chart? As an example, several of your charts posted on the Euro 6E thread require this, but not all. Why is that?
You are probably describing what Guests see. Don't browse the forum as a guest. Images in post bodies are hidden to guests to incentivize them to register and login.
So if I understand your reasoning, "incentivize them to register and login." With the "New way," all images in all threads will be hidden form everyone not loged in.
