@Big Mike, I attached two screenshots but one was incorrect so I deleted it and replaced it with the correct one. Now I have that deleted image as a thumbnail at the bottom. I dont see an option to remove it anywhere. A curious quest into the unkown I dont plan on trading today. Nevertheless I remain alert for possible opportunities. I am looking for reasons to go long but am not married to that idea just yet. Here are my observations from the weekly and daily perspective:

If you just delete the embedded link in the text of your post, the file is still attached and it shows up in the thumbnail.

Go into the paper clip icon on the edit screen and bring up Manage Attachments window. The image file will still be there. Click Remove and it goes away.




Ta-da!

You only have 24 hours to edit a post before it becomes permanent and unchangeable.

Didnt see that thumbnail listed anywhere so just removed both those attachments and re attached. Problem solved, thanks Bob.

did something change regarding new post notifications? I noticed that I didn't receive notifications to a GMail account when there was a new post in a thread I am subscribed to (I only noticed it today, but it was working fine last week).

@Big Mike, I was just going to post about this issue when I saw this from @ABCTG.

The latest post I have received notification of today was at 8:45 AM ET. I started to notice a ton of posts on the list on the main page from threads I subscribe to, but I didn't receive any after this time.

Also a gmail account.

No changes. There can be a delay up to an hour in certain circumstances when we are emailing out our newsletter, it would only happen at 9am on certain days when that goes out, and one hour delay would be worst case.

Did you double check spam? It shouldn't be there, but first thing to check.

Otherwise I'd have to look much more in depth, but today I'm in bed sick.

There's nothing in spam, I checked that first.

I've made no changes to my email settings or FIO settings, and I'm getting a normal email volume from other sources.

Double checking, I did get your email on "The Business of Trading" at 10:08 AM ET.

But the last thread notification was at 8:45 AM, as I posted. Nothing else from FIO after the Business of Trading email.

Hi @Big Mike,

I did receive the official webinar announcement mail and the daily summary for subscribed sub forums and the last mail I received from a subscribed thread was yesterday morning around 8:45 AM EST. After that I didn't receive mails for posts on subscribed threads anymore, like for a new post in this forum changelog thread, which would normally come almost instantly. They are also not caught in the spam folder.

If you need any more information, please let me know.

as a follow up and in case it helps, I didn't receive the daily mails (that normally come around 5:03 AM EST) for subscribed sub forums today (although there have been new posts in these forum parts).
