Keep in mind Ray mentioned it's all preliminary, will change, etc etc -- but exciting to see the new look! And I can't wait to see what futures.io (formerly BMT) users come up with now with the ability to do custom skinning with XAML!
I am surprised that @Zondor hasn't commented yet about their policy change in moving towards an Efficiency model instead of an Ease of Use model with the defacto C# indicator code included in the shipping product...
The cci example is certainly a step in the right direction. So this is good news for users.
The way the system indicators are coded now is... not good.
But the cci is still running a loop on every tick that only needs to run once per bar. That's OK, I know how to fix it.
I am very disappointed that you won't be able to specify data provider per instrument, but only by type of instrument.
If they would let you specify data provider by EXCHANGE, that would be good.
No word on whether FormatPriceMarker will be able to control multiple plots of one indicator. This is one I am very interested in and asked for quite some time ago.

Keep in mind, Ray said he doesn't yet know how much control will be given, but I assume most of the icons, fonts and colors would be a given, so we should see some really creative stuff.

I thought he said you could do it on a per instrument basis? Like ES data coming from IQFeed, and EURUSD data coming from InteractiveBrokers, for example? Just not a per-chart basis, meaning that one ES chart is IQFeed and the other ES chart is Zen Fire.
That was really an exciting webinar. Looking forward to some of the features he couldnt talk about yet. The UI looks great and hopefully NT8 performs the same way it looks
Was there any discussion on time frame of beta release ? Will 7 continue to be supported after 8 is released ? What concerns me is indicators/strategies would have to be rewritten to work on 8
