Bob.

And I forgot: good phrase.

It talks about seizing opportunities.

When something does not come out how it would be desirable or we hope, it is probably an opportunity for something else, also in Trading.

This happens sometimes. The forum software is trying to determine the correct orientation of the picture. Usually it's right, and sometimes it gets it wrong.

One of those odd things that just happens....

Bob.

Perhaps its a signal to do the opposite of what you normally do

Hello everyone!

Here is some info about my trading setup. The main trading setup runs a 49in Samsung Super Ultrawide, with a 34in LG Ultrawide, and 2 27in vertical Asus monitors. The PC is custom made running an i7-4790K Devils Canyon with a MSI GTX 980. The second setup is used for running trade the news and other news /software. It currently is running on an older Alienware x51 R2 with a 43in Samsung Super Ultrawide and a 50in Vizio TV.

I started trading about 5 years ago with ETFs, specifically UGAZ and DGAZ. This is my first year trading futures and so far they are my favorite! (ES, GC, CL, NG)

Hi all,

Was wondering which resolution is more appropriate for viewing “extended desktops “/ Split Screens ?

Also, since we are demoing with charts and figures/ numbers - which monitor technology is best :

IPS
TN
VA?

I’m assuming IPS due to color accuracy / text reproduction (less perfect for games due to lower Herz - but 96-99% SRgb ) - and I hear the other two are better for games 144-200 Hz - but may produce “burn -in”- so if Monitor areas stay the same for long - May produce artifacts.

Also 29” vs 34” , curved vs not - and anyone uses the SUPER WIDE SCREENS ? (I think they are like 6ft wide ?)

Looking forward for some real world input.
S.

@Rrrracer -thanks for the reference.

Going to be a tough decision - will have to go to stores with my laptop and check various options 😎

Cheers,
