I've come to the realization that Health is Wealth. So I decided to work on my Health for 2011. What does Health mean to me...It means more than taking care of the physical body such as eating right and exercising. It also means to be healthy in my emotions and in my thoughts. Being aware when I'm in a negative state, or when I begin to think badly about a person or a situation, or when negative thoughts enter my mind. I believe by working on these things I will become a better person which will reflect on me being a better trader.

"Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." --- "Therefore, I Believe it and I will see it. And every day and in every way, I am healthier, wealthier, and wiser."

Big Mike View Post
Well my friends, 2010 is nearly upon us! It made me wonder, what New Year's Resolution(s) will you make for 2010 that are related to your trading?

I have more than one:

- Read more about: Psychology, Personal Triumph, Biographies on Traders
- Read less about: Charts, Systems/Strategies, Quantitative Trading
- Eat healthier - yes, it does relate because when you feel better you trade better
- Seek out new remedies for my sleeping disorder - most certainly affects my trading
- Put more in savings than I did last year
- Help more people via futures.io (formerly BMT) than I did last year

I look forward to reading your Resolution(s)! I hope everyone shares, and then a year from now we can check in and see how everyone did.

Most of all, I hope each of you cherish your time this Holiday Season with your friends and family, and make the most of the New Year!

Mike

Maestro,

Since one of your 2011 resolution concerned food, beeing Italian my advice is of course Mediterranean Diet
You can start by having a look at The Many Benefits of a Mediterranean Diet

I wonder how these resolutions have held up over the last decade?

My trading resolution for 2022 is to trade what is happening rather than what I think will happen. After reviewing activity over the last few months (screen recording trading sessions is the most valuable tool you can purchase) I have come to realise that when I'm booking losing trades it's primarily because the first part of my strategy is fulfilled but the order flow isn't satisfying the other requirement thus I am entering in the hope of what will happen (served with a side of FOMO) and not surprisingly it's not working out. Yes I will miss some moves but so what there's opportunities across so many markets every day who cares if I miss out on one if it saves me countless losses.

I'll return here in a year and see how it went!

Happy new year everyone and here's to a profitable and enjoyable 2022.
