HI to Mike and all,

I started with trading 2 months ago and made some gains and losses on Gold CFDs. During trading I realized there was something wrong with the system so I started to invest more in study and now I am at the point of learning to trade futures and looking for a good Volume/Footprint analysis system, which brought me to futures.io and I am thankfull for all ur efforts for this site.

I hope to learn a lot from u guys and maybe also to find a good, not so pricy Footprint analysis system to trade.

I wish us all a good trading with a lot of fun and joy and gains

Kia

Kia,
Whatever system you choose to trade, please ask whoever is selling it to you for verifiable proof of profitability. Account statements, backtests, some kind of hard proof they’re not just selling you a complex system that keeps you chasing your tail.
Good luck my friend

Hi to Mike and all!

Well I started trading about 15 years ago now.
I started in futures. Currently I'm in forex.
I've also handled different businesses alongside trading, also taking some time outs from trading a few times over that period.
Keen to network and share experiences/views with other traders.
I'm looking to expand my business side of trading too.
I'm in the Bristol area but visit London and other places in Europe.
Its nice to see such a mix of different traders ranging from newbies to longtimers such as me.
Kind regards
TT

Hi Kia & Welcome!

Have you looked at Sierra Chart?

FuturesTrade71 on futures.io has a prop-shop type group at ConvergentTrading.com and he uses footprint charts. He has videos on futures.io & YouTube.

TradePro Academy also uses Sierra Chart and has templates and info about setting it up.

God speed!

Trading in US options on ETFs from Singapore. Due to time-zone difference, 12 hours ahead of NY, only have 2-3 hours of trading time. Recently started learning about futures and have opened an account with AMP Futures. Using Sierra Charts. Lost a lot in the first 10 -15 years but have slowly started becoming profitable. Learning how to use Multi-time frame charts helped.

I am getting back into trading after a long break. My first venture was with reading Trading for a living and using the Triple Screen System. I was using MetaStock and traded futures. Was up about 30% the first week and thought wow this is great I am going to be a millionaire. I got overconfident traded off the system and there went my account. So, I am back at it now and going to test the Triple Screen System first and try to add to it with NeuroShell, a neural network program/add-in, and add some intermarket relationships if I can find predictive value. Using TradeStation and Interactive Brokers now. I am a registered investment adviser and focus on the cleantech and SRI/ESG there. This trading is for personal funds at this point. Hoping to learn more from all of you here and contribute if I can.
Cheers!
Scott
