A male in his 40s with the passion of trading.

I am a professional devop and programmer (mostly c++ and python). My hobby is investing (well, buy and hold and portfolio management) and I'm a lousy discretionary futures trader trying to nail the Emini and DAX.

Over the years (decades!) I tried it all: mostly stocks, options and forex. I've never been consistently successful and my dream is that one day I'll get it right: never give up.

Meanwhile I read, study and enjoy the ride.

I've been lurking futures.io for some time now. Perhaps I'll find some friends here to share the journey and build something together.

I'm a freelance IT specialist and started trading few years ago (stocks only). My interest started with the raise of the H2 stocks, later vaxx stocks (I quit them like I quit arms manufacturers).

Wise men told me not to daytrade but I'm still most into this kind of trading because it's fun and it fits good with my interest / addiction for daily politics and news.

Hi all! JB here. I've been trading for 7 years jumping around and bought my share of those 99 dollar indies that were supposed to make me rich! I've finally settled on a more calm approach using price action and a few other things like pivots. I'm very interested in learning more about wave counting. Hopefully I can find it here. i am not new, into trading, my biggest dream is to be a successfull trader, but i dont trade a plan or my plan, i find good entries, but hold my positions,

i think its more an emotional and psychological issue, want to make money fast and quick to be successfull, i started, with hundreds of euros..and meanwhile in the years lost much more

to the markets, now i try to get a funded trader account and learn to trade futures, with care and self esteem...i hope to learn much from the community and provide also help if i will be successful

I'm a software engineer by trade and I have decided to take some time off the 9-5 grind to write automated trading robots.
I have traded on and off manually (swing trading). Now, I want to automate it using Python. I have traded Stocks, Crypto, Forex.
I'm not interested in day trading. Instead, I want to buy and hold between 7 and 90 days in general.
I'm interested in learning how to trade futures and options. And I want to learn any strategy that can be automated programmatically.
