Yes due to our massive time difference I do trade overnight but the biggest paradigm shift in our thinking I want people to think and use in their trading is when does the market open and when does the market close

Here is the biggest challenge as based on when they think the market opens and use the chart session and try to workout the levels and Highs and Lows

But does it really operate like what we have been taught

Sharmas

Nice trade #2 for the day and both short trades

14 x 60 ticks = 840 ticks

Do i get greedy and want more and than get stopped out.

So far today 2 trades with 14 contracts each

406+840=1,246 ticks
1246 x 10.00 = $12,460.00

Hi,

When you speak about the open and the close of the market, are you referring to the RTH times or the ETH times?

Thank you

Yes and no...

I cant give too much away but i will suggest you get a naked 30 minute chart and look at the last 90 days to see how the market has worked itself.

You should see a pattern and it will be like huh moment

Friends

Please note i am posting my charts and my trades not to be boastful but to share and inspire fellow traders to look deeper into their charts.

Let go of all the fancy lagging indicators and cross of MAs and MACDs.

The real proof is in Price Action and Levels that Institutional Traders look at.

If i was allowed to then i would happily share the secret sauce but for now i am only sharing my charts and where i entered took profit.

I will answer any questions you ask without giving away too much.

Once again I thank each one of you for stopping by my journal and checking it out.

Sharmas

You have been asked nicely before.

Why dont you share your trades and may be ask Ninja Trader to employ you as a development specialist.

I show my trades and you are most welcome to believe anything and everything you want to.

Enjoy the journal but stop writing in it, please. Unless you have something positive and meaningful to contribute.

Remember....this

2 April is a Saturday and this is the first time I see a crude chart with trades taken on a Saturday!

Sharmas you are self promoting your scam business and should be banned from this forum!

When you couldnt even see where i am based and you for the first time in your life saw trades taken on Saturday

This hole journal is just fishy, secret sauce????

You made $12,460 on a simulator so end result is still $0,00.

IŽam very familiar with NT so why are you still trading from a simulator?

...
Traders,

Sorry to spoil the party.

Yikes Itzhak, could you post your latest picture in a larger format? I've tried every-which-way to make it larger to see, but the pic is too small and the resolution goes to naught when expanding to see the chart.

But this is Sharmas's journal anyway. We want Sharmas we want Sharmas, gabba gabba hey!

What's the difference if it's sim or real? @sharmas is showing his trades in real time.

Are you?

Serif, man, we are doing the best we can with what we have. There is nothing else we can do. And we try to share the moves with others to help expand ideas, concepts of trading, possibilities. Don't be one of those stodgy punks that says "If it is Sim it is fake."

If you search for my journal, you will see my attempts since April 16th of this year to make it work with 75K in an account. If you look though the trading logs (and no, nothing was deleted from those logs, I do not cheat), you will see the progress I have made or not made, my basic ideas, and the results of my ideas. Sharmas is doing the same thing in this journal. There has been some argument here about how sim affects live, yes, but I am now a living example of it. I am in a single MGC short contract at a terrible price in Dec. We'll see how it plays out, and if my trading plan will work. But I chose Dec because that is the farthest month out my data feed is providing me GC data.

Now that I see through the broker statements what is actually involved in holding overnight, I am ecstatic, because many questions have been laid to rest. And they are all in my favor.

So please don't poo-poo on Sharmas's journal. He is doing the best he can with what he has.

In fact, that gives me an idea...Hrmm...Posting a redacted live account statement about holding overnight. If I can become profitable, people can follow along. If I lose it all, people can follow along as well. But what the hey, it may give ideas. Sorry Sharmas for what may seem like a hijack. It's not intended to be so, I just had an epiphany and had to type.
