As announced earlier - July is most choppy. As we can see from this week's trades: nothing is predictable, small news move the price up and down because of lower volume in the markets.
So I stop here for now to let pass this difficult period and getting back later to trade when things are better. Meanwhile protecting the gains!

Last - and Friday - July 31st

After yesterday's new direction (flush down) we might see some extended move(s) down. Especially in August. Gold on new ATH's, stock markets in thin air, corona, uncertainty in the markets, threats to the big 4 in USA, bad BIP in important economies and much much more.
A next goal in the DAX is 11550 which might help as a support.

The trade to take today: 9:30 to 16:30 - IB will tell THE DIRECTION - obviously down but wait for confirmation.

Thanks for your thoughts - of course these themes are present always - to work with a trading brokerage or with a managed client account or other possibilities.
In fact if I do so I need to close my journals as prof. trading is not allowed on fio.
My goal was to refine my trading under very different situations - even in extreme volatility to see how my 2 different systems are working.
The world is changing - so me as a inhabitant might change habits too.
