edit 11:08 - the vola in the last 3 days show the importance of a 3rd quarter to find the final end price. Assuming to see tomorrow the last shifts - Friday will no longer be important as we will not see pressure and volumes.
Looking forward to the results today - looks not bad - and deciding for tomorrow.

edit 16:25 - the afternoon was not a hit! Anyway my SL was sitting on entry.

This is one of the few threads where the trader looks at the calendar. (I know not the only one, @Deetee ).

I'm surprised that people will trade equities and equty futures without paying attention to the business side of the equity markets, as well as related calendar events such as options exprirations.

Maybe they just never heard of them, but these things are out there and will affect price at particular times.

My pattern systems are based on events before the event as well as AFTER event.
So the rules are part of such special settings - and the results are speaking for themselves.
Even I am preparing my trades BEFORE they happen - I want to steer the readers to be aware of the market CONDITIONS.

USA - 14:30 Initial jobless claims 4 weeks - no details

Markets at lower levels again.

Asia mostly red - NIKK -2,2% before closing.
US may be blocked to widen the debt limit. Makes pressure on all markets.
No important numbers ahead.
btc$ slowly up - swims still in the middle of daily Kumo.

DAX started with a gap down to 15100 level which we had seen some weeks back.
The 15k level will be tested!
edit 8:35 - nearing the 15k already pre cash.

After a good preparation of today I decided to get some points with a trade:

DAX short 9:00 to 16:30

result -48 points

edit 9:17: Test of 15k was successful in the first minutes: price came down to 14984.
edit 10:10 - gap to yesterday still not closed!

edit Saturday: price testing 15k and then got over 15k for the rest of the day - resistance in the base but the trend down for the moment is there.
