Why did you take that trade?

Well - out of curiosity: because this situation of the Dax within the cloud has two possibilities within a week for "larger" moves" - means on Tuesday and on Thursday. Thought to catch the early worm...
Which as we can see did not happen. So Thursday is of course no alternative.

Will take the Wednesday trade (short as mostly always) and the Friday trade if possible.
Some trial and error - around the normal rules - sometimes brings some points too.

Good trades!
GFIs1

PS I: I skipped Tuesday's and Thursday's trades because they had much lower gains than the 3 other weekdays.
PS II: The 126xx are in reach as next resistance - so tomorrow a short is on the plate

Hi thank you for your thread.
please can you let me know whether within this thread there is one post which is meant to summarize the method you are applying? I tried to read the first few pages but I could not find it.

Thank you.

Buongiorno guidoisot

The most information you can gather on this system is summarized in post #1.
Additional clarification within the posts 1 to here

If you look at my other thread when high volatility exists then read the shorter thread here:

Both systems are there - when one is limited by the rules - the other one is coming in handy...

Feel free to ask more detailed questions.

Test was not positive. As already mentioned: price in daily Kumo may be more erratic.
Anyway things are mostly under control.

Hi,

is it ok
exit @ 12389 ?

or is it exit @ 12489 ?

in any case as I understand: you enter and exit with a pre-fixed timing, do you?

hi
are you still in the trade?
or (since drawdown has been 48 > 30 SL points) did you stop out?
if you stopped out, now that the dax has turned down are you re-entering? or the trade for today is closed.
Thanks

Was not stopped out - special SL rule for situation when price 30m from 9:00 to 9:30 is out of yesterday range.
So still in the trade until exactly 13:00

Good trades
GFIs1

PS in 99% of all trades - there is only ONE trade per day.
Walzer of course not meant here.

... when price 30m from 9:00 to 9:30 is out of yesterday range.
....

just to make sure, do I understand correct if I say it in this way:

"when the close of the 30 min bar starting at 09:00 is outside of yesterday range"

if yes, no need to reply.

thanks.
