the CLOSING (17:30 CET) of the DAX today @ 6627.
This would underline that the signal for today would run in a SL.

Most likely a short in the morning on WEDNESDAYs... (over 90%) So if you are not sure - bet on a short after the opening range except when Monday AND Tuesday were already short. Happy trades! GFIs1

How do you define the opening range? Is it 8:00 - 9:00 CET or after the cash open 9:00 - 9:30 CET or something else?

Trading system is only cash time 09:00 to 17:30.
So opening range here is always 09:00 to 09:30.

The rule set is quite reliable as long the previous day's volatility
stays in a certain range.
Yesterday there was a NO trade situation after the vola of monday
exceeded the vola range defined.
But yesterday's range exceeded the defined range too..
Therefore the NO trade rule would have brought a better result today.
Anyway - this situation I did not have til now - will consider
this for next time coming.

Have adjusted the rule set for this special case which is described above.
This gives at least a better result than today's.

Strange Dax movements today: CCO = chop chop only
Was already clear as opening range showed that a real trend did not
exist. Will consider this for fridays. Either no trade or entering
a trade later than on normal fridays.
