BAC is wildly oversold and so is the rest of the market. BAC will rebound up to 20% in the next several months, before we start dropping again. The macro economics spell doom for the worlds economy but that will take a year to two to unfold, right now we are heading towards a rebound. (Just my 2 cents).

and it only took about 2 weeks.

excellent call.

I agree that we have fixated on BofA lately. But I think they do deserve attention. They are surely not the only ones, one example I can easily think of is McDonald's.

McDonald's menu is really terrible for you. And an overwhelming large number of children eat at McDonald's vs other fast food restaurants.

Now, is it McDonald's fault for not offering enough nutritious options for our children to eat? Or is it the parents fault for feeding it to them? Who is supporting McDonald's? The customers. The customers could voice their concern over the menu at McDonald's by simply not eating there.

The problem is that when you look at BofA -- you may not bank there at all -- yet what BofA does and the risks they are allowed to take will still effect you. We all loaned them huge amounts of money in the bail out to cover their ass. And we may have to do it again. If BofA is allowed to fail, the ripple effect and fall out is huge. This is not something that you can simply avoid by not banking with them.

Mike

Yes, but this is a political issue really. Per the leverage allowance and others that have caused some of the issue.

To me, this is all really nothing and all trivial.

This is just another cycle of boom/bust and with today's communications it just creates deeper extremes of each. Hard to stick your head in a hole when everything is blaring fear at you.

It is good to get some changes, but to me, to blame a company like B of A, is nothing more than blaming my right hand for not clicking the mouse on the perfect trade etc..

Just my opinion, in 5 years we will be healing and forget about all this crap and of course, Politico's and media will have changed our landscape and it will ebb/flow again and again. We humans forget.

Next Generations will do the same crap but slightly different.

The thing that concerns me is the lack of ethics in our business and our broken political system. That to me is the real issue.

Now BAC has given it up.

Now BAC is a sell. A short on the daily basis. But I would not short it until the weekly stochastics K crosses down. And today you have a doji, maybe a short on an engulfing candle.

Bank of Crap:

Wow, what a penny annie short. Maybe some short covering to kick up the daily stoch before the weekly stoch rolls over for a header dive to new lows.

BAC is on a drift to zero... The accumulation/distribution of this stock suggests that it's about to die for good.
