When I first found the indicator that would turn my bars black and white, I posted on my screen "DISCIPLINE TO BUY WHITE" and "DISCIPLINE TO SELL BLACK".

Today I bought black with confidence, but would not dream of selling white.

Beautiful chart visually.

You are never in the wrong place... but sometimes you are in the right place looking at things in the wrong way.

I'll bet you $1.00 you will trade again in the a.m.

Prove me wrong!

OK, you owe me a dollar. Probabilities would have suggested you would win.

Beautiful chart visually.

Thanks, I have spent years on it. lol!

I really like it. Easy on my eyes, makes sense to me without a lot garbage everywhere. Gives the illusion I am trading outdoors...

You replied, "You're starting to make me paranoid. How do you know what I did over the weekend?"

No problem; I took an interest in your work sometime ago and 'we' have been monitoring you closely.

No red flags yet; so you are on 'track.'

Good start to the week; always a plus.

You (Gary) wrote: But, if I take it, 1 contract, something light and fun. Sim just irritates me anymore, because I don't need practice in simulation, I need practice with EMOTION. I can trade sim and see everything, but turn to live and I get tunnelvision.

In my experience and with other pro traders who trade size; if you are 5 unit base trader--you may 'ultra'-scalp' with up to 20% of 'base' size.

So--you are in that 'zone.'

Just my thoughts.

I also knew not to short. And how I knew; I used to try to short days like this.

Maybe the best "indicator" of all: experience, and a knowledge of what new traders as you once were are probably trying to do.

That lesson had a price tag, and worked as an installment loan!

Never found another trade today that was worth screwing up my plan.

Not interested in the 2:30 scramble as my odds are pretty low in that timeframe.

I had thought of holding a long further than I did, but we are in a downtrend market, so why not take a higher probability target? That was my thought anyway. The trade I was in took minutes, the longer trade would have been hours, and there was nothing that major pushing things up.
