I usually see a jump up in my account between 4:30-5:00 Central time every afternoon. Ron, do you know why? Is it an end of the day settlement or adjustments in "last trade"?

Ah the weekend. Will pour a single malt, light up a stogie, restring the light tackle for the trout and redfish that will soon be on the flats, and mark two days off the calender for premiums to erode.

Sounds good to me! Enjoy!

Sunday is Chinese New Year. So there will be a lot of cooking of traditional Chinese dishes at my house. Just came back from the supermarket with tons of goodies!

Of course all of my fellow option writers are invited but BYOB! And it might just be warm enough here in Houston to jump in the pool for a few minutes.

I always enjoy option expiration day. My 94 KC March options expired today.

That is probably option settlements coming in for ICE softs and/or grains after they quit trading. OX doesn't post the ES, energies and metals settlements until later after trading closes for the day.

Hmmmm...snow...that's that white cold stuff. Isn't it? I'm 5 minutes from the crystal emerald beaches. We almost hit 70 degrees today here in northwest Florida. Let me know when you get in the upper 60's!

I was in Panama City Beach in Dec. Drove west one day to the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier. Destin has some fancy places to live.

Ron: I live in Panama City Beach. Hit me up next time your around.

OX dropped their commission rate to $3.50 per side for options on futures as of 2/9. Very nice.
