Fat Tails View Post
I have only discovered this thread right now, so let me ask a few questions:

Midnight London time usually is the opening hour of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, because it is 9:00 AM TST. Why would this be an interesting time for instruments that are traded in the US and Europe? European Traders are sleeping and US traders are heading for a drink. Volume is pretty low. Why would I be interested in this, except for Asian box trades?

Midnight New York is even worse. The Asian markets have closed. European and US traders are sleeping. This is no market open but just a ghost time. Blue babies and green monsters wafting through the empty roads....

I don't understand this game nor its meaning. Can anyone explain this to me? Thank you.

From my experience on staying awake (I fall in the same Time Zone with Fat) once in a while during the Asia sessions, 6E is fairly active @ Tokyo, especially @ the opening hours (Tokyo Open is 1 hour after GMT midnight) and @ the closing hours when London is some minutes to open. I'm also wont (yes, I mean WONT) to believe that the Chinese sometimes trigger some activities on Instruments that are Euro-centric during the Asia sessions; I may be wrong. The Aussie (6A) too is usually active during the Asia sessions. The Asia sessions are not really completely "dead" when London and NY are sleeping, at least for Currencies.

My initial understanding is that BABY BLUE is computed using some SQUARE ROOT calculus to forecast a Market Price. This Market Price is consequently useful in determining the direction of the market @ London and NY sessions.

I'm with you guys in your thinking, until the math gives me the heads up!!

All the calculating I have done about this have led me to pretty much the same numbers as the prices,
the same prices that are unfolding at the opening hours of the markets mentioned previously.

(LONDON/NEW YORK,...and the MidPoint of NY midnight open till the 19:00hr EST)

And to make it easier for myself, I just started watching those prices without doing any more calculus!!

And it has proven to be more then I expected!! And, it is so very simple and very effective.

In order to travel, you need to have three points.

1. Starting
2. Destination
3. Dimensional

......these three prices are just that, the market revolves around them, every single day, and it keeps moving in a spiral.

as I see it, this is in a way the truest form of price action trading, since you have your three price pillars to help guide you through!!!

....anyone can trade the market if they can first truly see the market.

It was a good day..................

See price dipped below the gaussian line...................................and another indicator.....the TriDiff, the cloud dipped below the zero line...........interesting

the squeeze is not needed......the TriDiff is a keeper.

Gabriyele,
I am trying to get this time zone thing down.
Midnight at GMT is Greenwich England.
In London it would be 1 AM ---- correct?
Are we looking at Greenwich midnight or London midnight ??
Phil

Midnight in London is always 12AM, which at this time of the year (Summer) is known as the British Summer Time, which is the same as my Time Zone at this period of the year; by sometime in October (Winter time), London will reset its clock to -1 hour, and Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) will now take effect but midnight London will still remain 12AM; at this point in time my midnight time will be London 11AM, and London midnight will be my 1AM 'cos my Time Zone is GMT+1, until summer time next year when London will reset its time again to coincide with my Time Zone. In view of this understanding, I consider London to be GMT+1 at this time of the year.

Avoid all the confusion. Pick a base time zone, and use that time zone as the reference for all time specifications.
