Thank for advice!!! I tried stochastics before and I didn't like. I think I'm on the right way right now. My 22 trades were just because I wanted to trade and didn't want to wait for trend. I opened my charts around 9:45 and my first trade was around 9:50am. By that time there was no direction and that was a reason for so many losses. My last few trades I took when it started moving down. I have to be more patient and wait for bigger moves. Sure I've made some mistakes here and there but over all I'm satisfied with today's trading. Thanks again for your advice.

Great open, but someone got greedy.

After my first two trades I was up 2.3 points and I stopped trading



Then I got greedy and took another 29 trades.
I took a couple loosing trade, forgot the news. I got very angry after that and made so many mistakes.
The funny thing that I got short right to the news and it took me out by a tick on the spike. That would be a nice trade. Haha....

Here is a summary:


I figured that after such a big drawdown it's gonna be very hard to get it back and I don't want to click anymore.

So this is gonna be it for today. I noticed that I always start clicking and making mistakes when I forget about news. I get so angry when that happens.

I even have an indicator that marks chart different color but I didn't set it up because I thought I was done after those two trades.

Dude, I beat you on drawdown today. I think I get my just deserts from commenting on your trading yesterday.

I wasn't technical at all today.

Today took 3 trades. A lot of volatility again.

The first trade I got short. I saw that momentum down was really weak, but I was looking for profit target and didn't move my stop to BE +1. Second trade I got in too soon. I knew that after such a strong move up we should get complex pull back with 3 swings, but I thought that small green candle was second swing. Third trade finally worked out. My profit target was 1.3 points higher from my exit, but I didn't want to get deep pull back and get out with 2 points out of 5 points run. Should trust myself more.

I got this horrible habit taking trades on every pivot. I had 46 trades yesterday and the same number today. I just can't stop. I have to do something about it. I know that I can do much better.

I have to listen to Mike's and Johnny's advice and make a rule about number of trades a day so I can be more selective.

I tried to trade replay for yesterday and today's open and I made 6.8 at 22nd and 3.6 at 23rd with only a few trades. I thought it's gonna be like a cheating because I traded yesterday and today, but after 46 trades I do not remember what was going on at that time.

I think I should start with 10 trades max a day for now. I would stop trading if my profit or stop goes over 2 points.
Lets see how it's gonna work out.

Yesterday I was trading around BE and I ended up with +1.2 but today I got drawdown of almost 10 points. This is just horrible. I don't know what happened to me. I don't really analyse anything, I just get in on every pivot. I wish I could erase few some days from my memory to get rid of this habit, but I'm afraid it's not gonna be that easy.

I cannot deal with this volatility!!! I..... I think there is two solutions for me. 1. Move to smaller time frame like Johnny recommended (1min replacing 3min and 66 ticks replacing 1min) 2. Move to less volatile instruments like ES, 6E or YM to lower my losses. Maybe even trade London market before US open.

volatile = noise, solution is filter out the noise like this
ps. once you filter out the noise you can go with any instrument you like.

I think you are right. I should stop fooling myself and listen to valuable advice.
I thought go with ten but stop after 2 points in any direction because sometimes you get two losing trades and third one would get you out on BE or something.
I should've done it long time ago when Mike told me the first time.
3 trades a day it is. I don't think it's gonna work right away, but I should try to make it work. I know that 3 trades enough to make 2-3 points a day I just got too loose and it's hard to get back.
