So, I know that AMP offers $300 margin but at the expensive cost of $9.60 RT and I think only for Indices? (ES, NQ)

I am curious which other brokers offer $300 margin with hopefully a cheaper commission rate?

And for the people getting hysterics and thinking no one should do $300 margin. Relax, this is for educational purposes :P

'Purely for educational purposes' ...... AMP Futures require a Day Margin of only $250 to trade the Russell 2000 Index mini on the CME according to their web page (https://www.ampfutures.com/trading-info/margins/).

And this is at their normal cost/commission rate of $4.10 R/t (give or take depending on what setup you have with AMP - but it is their normal cost like for the ES or NQ).

AMP has special margin that can be viewed at the end of the page when you check the box

[ ] Special - $300 day trading margins for - E-Mini S&P - E-Mini NASDAQ - Mini ($5) Dow Jones

It cost $9.60 RT Which is the highest commissions I seen.

I am curious if you or anyone knows another broker that offers $300 margin for NQ/ES but with lower commissions?

And of course nothing can go wrong with a 1/300 intraday leverage.

I did some 200day ATR analysis last week (25th), there's a reason RTY has lower margin requirements.
EMD 27.5095 = $2,750.95
NQ 133.63625 = $2,672.73
ES 37.49375 = $1,874.69
RTY 26.193 = $1,309.65

And in case your interested...
CL 1.89035 = $1,890.35
HG 0.05708 = $1,427.00
NG 0.13684 = $1,368.40
SI 0.24561 = $1,228.05
GC 12.158 = $1,215.80

Most others I looked at were <$1000 ATR

How about FDAX? The DAX probably has the biggest ATR of anything.

And if you have the data already, please post the ATR of YM and 6E, since those are very commonly traded. Thanks

Yes FDAX is the monster. Here's my full table, refreshed as of todays close.

Just want to update this instead of making a new thread, does anyone know if AMP still offers special margin? (lower than their $500) for ES/NQ

Or if anyone knows another broker that does, of course please share
