I've been involved with trading for some time and am more or less familiar with most schools of technicals, volume profile , order flow etc .

However , it seems the big players or hedge funds are mostly trading based on global macro or fundamentals - with which I've no experience so far . I thought it'd be interesting to know their perspectives or being able to see things from a different angle .

I was looking at Alchemy of Finance , any other good read on economy/finance would also be fine .

What would be some helpful resources to start understanding & perhaps developing some fundamental ideas/strategies ?

One of the easiest ways I know to get acquainted with fundamentals is browsing various financial websites (such as Financial Times, Bloomberg, Reuters, etc.) and read news articles that are likely to talk about macroeconomics. I regularly save any such articles for later viewing, such as this selection



There is at least one webinar I know of that talks about macroeconomics in the Webinars section of the forum, but for that you need an Elite subscription.

RealVision covers a lot of Global Macro in their interviews (there is a lot of free content available these days as well). Check out anything with Raoul Pal and the interview with Stan Druckenmiller.
