In my opinion, NT in X64 is useful for large backtests, but not for usual operation. It can now use more than 3G, which was the x86 limit.
The theory would say it's possible to port all C# programs...

The Battle of the Bots use a Kinetick datafeed, on one of my own VPS: it has been running for many months, 24/7, and I never had a single disconnection of the real time data feed...

I won't say NT is perfect, not at all, but because of NT architecture, C#, and the fact that you can do virtually anything with it, many very very smart/powerful things, NT has attracted a population...
