As an example of how an increase in IV can dramatically impact far OTM options, you can sell 3 delta 90DTE puts in ES around 700 pts lower right now (1250ish).

Comparing to the table on post 4674 (delta vs spreads) I did notice that you are able to exit in 21 vs 27.4 days for 40% vs 50% respectively...

No doubt that trading costs (slippage, commission) will eventually become a limiting factor but it is interesting that, in your rudimentary first pass study, it shows that ROI increases...

Thanks for the study links. I did notice that on both studies, managing at 40% had a greater ROI than 50%.
So, it does beg the question if managing even more aggressively will continue...
