I think Avast, Avira, & AVG are all fine for free...

I think Avast, Avira, & AVG are all fine for free anti-virus. Nod32 is the best if you want to pay for it every year. I personally don't think it's worth the extra $, I have it on my main desktop...

Another vote for NOD32. I have it on all the computers in my family and we've never had one virus or trojan. Well worth it and it's the fastest virus program there is.
