I posted updated versions of some of the system indicators in the Elite Downloads area recently. Many of them can be made to run a lot faster, right now, without having to wait for NT8.

new emphasis on efficiency.
I agree with this, but the programmers of custom indicators need to do their part too.

From what I have seen, Ninjatrader strategies are generally coded using the same sloppy and inefficient coding techniques that are so popular with indicator programmers.

Efficiency model
The cci example is certainly a step in the right direction. So this is good news for users.
The way the system indicators are coded now is... not good.
But the cci is still running a loop on...
