Here is an article of a CBOT floor trader Chip Kenyon. He was a local in the bond pit. I worked on the floor from 1987 to 2001 and I would have to say he and Tom Baldwin were the most impressive...

Average hold time

Mfb, what is your average hold time for trades (assuming u track this). Mine is 3 to 4 minutes...which I know I have to change.

As a 25 yr. client of Vanguard I could have saved Calpers a lot of money and frustration. It is amazing how much money is paid to fund manages that generate poor returns.

Just started trading TF this week. No shorts for me today in TF, with the strength in the YM and ES. Amazing the intraday divergences between TF and the rest of the indices of late.

shorter time frame OR

MFB- do u ever look at a shorter time frame open (especially in the indices). I like the break out of the 2 min OR most days in the indices. trading the breakout of 15 min or 20 min OR seems a lot...
