ChartTrader correctly shows active position size in Euros....

My current workaround for this is to plot the instrument as an indicator itself, that achieves both of the above in NT7 but maybe NT8 will allow a direct route.

No disrespect intended, but it's not a great idea to run any other heavy duty programs on a trading box anyway. Regardless of cpu core usage, Windows will still crap anything out once they start...

The problems you describe are common for all of us, the main NT7 event and chart code loop is by default single-threaded, largely restricted by the Windows graphics and GUI library that it uses....

Users and developers have spent the last 30 years defeating Moore's Law with bad software and poor choices. I see no reason for this to change with either 100 cores and active threads or TeraHertz...

I agree with the main sentiment but to be fair to Ninja this is an NT8 wish list and they themselves made the hard decision to effectively freeze 7's functionality level so that they could focus...

With NT closed a simple Windows manual network or offline copy of the whole Documents/NinjaTrader 7 folder either as a straight folder or as a zip file works well, no need to use the NT backup...

You can safely just delete the '_Workspaces.xml' file in the 'workspaces' folder under 'My Documents/NinjaTrader 7', it will open up with none active then.
