Well that might be the case, I didn't look at the first two or so hours but at Wednesdays as a whole.

In the time frame mentioned in my last post there were no Wednesdays that gap opened lower.
During that period there where only 13 days in total that gap opened lower.

My definition of gap open...

No it is indeed not true.

Going back till 2008/12/15 I have found that there were 205 Wednesdays of which 90 closed lower than they opened, which is only 44%
