Without looking at the code, it may be you don't have enough bars back with a 5 min. chart. Try increasing the days back for that chart to increase the number of bars.

The reason is because when you change the bar type in NT6.5, typically your number of days back will change. Check and make sure you nave the same setting.

You are right also. There seems to be a number of reasons why they will shift and price moving to the extremes will do it. Coincidently the 4/8s line may move close to current price but not always....
