You said you have a US account, you could use some of that. I guess you have to decide if you want to pay a legit debt, or a way to escape your responsibilities.

I would reach out to the debtholders and try to come up with a plan to satisfy your financial responsibilities. You might spend more on legal help trying to protect that US account than just...
