Many do not use stops...
at all, true enough.
Some guys have the luxury of almost unlimited capital and they are very patient plus they can trade big enough size and hang around to get out of a well averaged position.

I might suggest...
that you try to suppress the urge to take profits defined by a targeted price area until there is decay for the premises used to enter the trade in the first place. If it breaks down pretty quick...
