I hate to reply to myself, however a few hours...
I hate to reply to myself, however a few hours ago when I booted my
system Kaspersky popped up this message. Apparently they changed
their mind about that software.

Thanks Mike. I can't remember any video taking 5 minutes to start to play. It's the:
"...poor network route from your ISP to the destination server..."
I assume. This problem is unacceptable....

Ok, I didn't know that.
Also, it takes 5 minutes or so to buffer to play, even after the first time I played
it from screencast's site. The original youtube video buffers in about 15 seconds....

At Mike's suggestion I tried out Jing. I tried previously a while back with some
other program but didn't do too well. Today I actually recorded streaming
video for the first time with decent audio...
