I think it is best to give an arrow on the bar...
I think it is best to give an arrow on the bar after these conditions are met. When the ADX is blue and the EMA indicator is in trend mode, place an arrow on the next bar after close.

Visual backtest in Ninja Trader
What is the best way to visually backtest an indicator? Is there some marking arrow function which will stamp the price on the chart? I know it's rather rudimentary but I have no programming skills...
