Currently I'm using the a 5 min footprint with the volume, delta, delta change being monitored. I guess instead of exploring the range option I added a 8 tick renko chart to keep some perspective.

Footprint: time, tick, or volume?
When using a footprint chart to monitor the market, what type do you prefer and why? (250 Tick, 2000 Volume, 5 min, etc)
I specifically trade MES daytime myself, but any information is good...
