I don't know that I would consider it dirty... I haven't done it personally, but I am sure several developers on this forum have. I think it's reasonable for them to be paid for their time to dust...

No, the "not fine" was talking about Zen Fire. NT7 x64 on x64 OS does not work with Zen Fire, just like it won't...

No, it's fine. Just because your OS is 64-bit doesn't mean programs suddenly are. NT 6.5 is still a x86 application, as are most.

It is simple:

x86 OS w/NT 6.5 or NT7 x86: Fine
x64 OS w/NT...
