So your solution is basically wait for the next bubble to collapse and they will fix themselves? I am not so confident, I think BAC failing will lead to many other failures. I can't see a solution...

You may be right -- if we don't see a repeat of Lehman, then an investment of say 10k might have risk of losing 90-100% of its value, but if it doesn't, the potential upside could be many times over,...
