I'm not sure how saying "don't feel compelled to buy my book" would be considered using reverse psychology to try and get people to buy his book, but anyway... some actual examples of other traders...

I suppose "clearer" is a subjective term. As the books come out I guess you can browse through them at a bookstore and if they don't seem clearer or informative then definitely don't buy them.
