i completely agree, this is a risky profession, but there's no reason to take unnecessary risk. booktrader is capable of that protection, so its not like it can't be done, i was just wondering if...

sorry, you're right. all i'm really worried about is having a stop in place with the original order.
Booktrader sends the whole bracket to IB and they submit it when the first order is filled....

yea, i stumbled across that already. IB supports it, but it looks like the stop and target order are not sent to TWS until the first order is filled
