Forex: How do different brokers reconcile their prices?

My understanding is that you can't really know the volume in a forex market because there is no one central clearing house. BUT in that case, how does price change. If I buy thru one forex company...

What I love about Ninja is that you can create a set of profit and loss entries and the package all gets entered...
