Of course the exchange opened at the right time. The stop is triggered on a trade, not by the bid/ask.

I've read both of those and unfortunately both are severely lacking. They cover the basic ideas (which are essentially trivial) in a long-winded way but then completely ignore implementation issues...

I'm not sure, never did any sports betting. I actually think it's illegal because the government is supposed to have a monopoly on betting, but there's really no way for them to enforce it.
