as far as Asia session goes, also highly recommend checking out HKex exchange offerings through IB. HSI, MHI futures are very economical to trade (albeit a bit crazy)

i also do this at times (I call em backwards...
i also do this at times (I call em backwards diagonals) and completely agree, not really gaining any protection. worth the effort i suppose if it frees up a significant chunk of margin
