I use IB with Ensign Software, using Volume charts only. Dont have any problems, until you are a scalper. I user 5000Volume and higher.

CQG itself works nice and you will find plenty of good brokers/FCMs with perfect commissions and service.
if you need ninja, there are Rithmic and TT...

They offer on there Volume scale after 10.000 Contracts a commission about $ 0.07.
