Hello everyone,

Do you know brokers/providers with fast forex feeds that do not use third party data feeds?

True providers with their own Forex feeds directly from the market?

Not speaking from experience, sorry, but have you looked at MCFX? From MultiCharts. I dint know the details except that it is all-in-one.

Spot forex is OTC so the data you get will depend on your pool of counterparties. The "market" and the data will differ depending on who's sandbox you are playing in.

EDIT: Reuters and EBS are the standard feeds/platforms for the banks and institutional players AFAIK.

Ok, I have found what I wanted.

I know it's OTC The 2 major feeds are EBS and Reuters.
These feeds are for institutionals.

Most of the provider data feeds do not give access to them except maybe CQG (for... 700$/month). If someone knows others providers with these feeds

There is also the GTIS feed (interbanks) used by eSignal.

For Mike, I have not tested MCFX, it seems based on FXCM. (I have not always heard good things about FXCM, maybe I'm wrong).

GTIS is the best forex data for reatail user.
Dukascopy has the best forex broker data, but on multicharts there's no historical data, I guess cos they offer FXCM platform.

Take your Pips, go out and Live.

There is still GTIS eSignal: Exchange Fee Pricing for Fixed Income, but if i remeber well, before it had many more data sources.
The link u posted seems does not work, anyway esignal is a brand of intreactivedata.
I used both data for forex, esignal GTIS and IQFeed Tenfore, some year ago, and GTIS was superior, but don't know now.

Last time I tried them (eSignal $100 USD just for forex GTIS feed- a few months back) I found that the over aggregation of partners made their feed unusable for the price action trader.. Bottomline I had to keep defaulting to one of the broker segregated feeds and found that in reality FXCM and GAIN provided the cleanest...

Its a da*n if you will da*n if you dont sort of thing.. some of the ECN brokers like ATC will provide a very good feeds but the platform they choose is poor.. MBTrading has a great FX feed that can be plugged in to lots of things but seems to lag quite a bit.. PFTs feed is good too but the brokerage is a joke.. Going to try IQFeed which unfortunately at the basic level only has FXCM and Barcap and the FXCM feed is not their institutional one (same as ATC).. not sure how the Barcap one looks yet..

EBS is very good btw but as you can expect as its very much like a futures feed but unfortunately does seem to be less infrequently ticking.. ( Don't ask me how i have access to this, just know I dont have 24/7 access)

UPDATE: FYI just had a quick glance and it says that the IQfeed by Tenfore feed is a composite which contains many of the same banks that go into the GTIS feed so it could be a much cheaper alternative and one of the contributors is MBTrading which as I said has a very good feed..

UPDATE2: Also checked the eSignal pricing page and if youre willing to pay the price they do offer a hotspot feed which you have to do some legwork to get.. that will be/should be the best feed retail money can buy..
