Can you trade option ratio spreads as one order with OAK?

The web site mentions spread orders, but it sounds more like futures spreads.

Yes, you can trade Options Spreads and also have RFQs (Request for Quotes) via OAK.
The platform has a downloadable and a web based version.

Just as an FYI: OAK also has its own data feed, which works on OAK of course, but also works on QST.
QST (Qucik Screen Trading) has Options capabilities for the more advanced and experienced trader as well.
Many FCMs use this software as part of their execution. Worth while checking out this combination.

Thank you,
Matt Z

Hello.

At the moment I am testing a demo version of the TT Dektop platform. I am considering to open a live account with a broker which offers this platform. On the Optimus Futures website I saw the option to choose Wedbush or AMP as possible FCMs for the TT Platform. From a potential customer which is Germany based which one is recommended? This question is directed to mattz.

Thank You.

Both AMP and Wedbush can accommodate German customers. However, both provide different structures as far as margin, support, etc. I will ping you my email address so we can start a dialogue.
Based on your trading capital and requirements I would be able to recommend one objectively.
However, we will respect any decision you will make.

Thank you for your question.

@mattz

I had a question about the different fees, especially WRT MarketDelta Cloud. The webpage on your site for MD Cloud says "no data fees! Save $95/mo!" Does that mean a customer wouldn't have to pay the standard exchange data fees with this platform? Also, if they use CQG, so they still have to pay the $0.25/side trade fee for CQG's feed?

Is there a way you could do a side-by-side comparison on costs between platforms to get the total all-in monthly and/or per trade costs? It's not your fault because there are so many different fees, but you could add a lot of value by helping prospective clients add it all up in one place.

First, I want to thank you for the understanding that these things are changing all the time.
Many times we just use the same promotions and text as the vendors we represent. However, we make our costs very transparent on the site. This includes commissions and cost of platform. If you are experiencing any difficulty, please call me directly 800 771 6748 local 561 367 8686 and I will assist you. You can also email me any time matt@ Optimusfutures DOT Com

As for MD Cloud:

During the time that the "95 savings" occurred was when MarketDelta went to the cloud and wanted to show their savings of having a funded account with a broker versus running an external data feed subscription. In all fairness, now that MD offers only web and the new platform with FootPrint, we should remove that. I already instructed my team.

MD Cloud will have a Market Data fee of $15 for the CME bundle. The New downloadable ND with the Footprint includes the market subscription in its price.

CQG does cost .25 per side at most FCMs, however at AMP the fee is only 10 cents.
You can find the FCMs we represent under the Open an Account page.

Thank you,
Matt Z

I have been with Optumius for several years and have been totally happy. It was intimidating getting started in trading but Matt has been always glad to answer any questions or help with any troubleshooting. I've asked dump questions and Ive had real problems, him and their team have helped with both. I can't really comment on how they compare with other brokers because I haven't used anyone else, so maybe others are better but to me the important stuff is good rates and customer service when you need it. Feel free to contact me if you have any specific questions.

Aaron

I had used some other brokers before and believe me..there's a huge difference. I've been with Matt over seven years now, and it's been a great experience.
I actually think he has way more now to offer than ever before. He has a lot of options in terms of platforms and clearing, and he can really tailor those choices to a person's individual needs. In fact a few weeks ago, we switched some things around for me and it's working out much better.

Failure is not an option

Yes, there' s no doubt about it: Matt and Optimus Futures have far the best service I've ever seen in my trading carrier (6 years).

He took the time and asked about me, my trading style, problems with current broker, etc. I had very bad experience with CQG lately, so he totally pointed out why do i have ongoing issues and what to do to fix it. This is beyond great customer service and on top of that, he was absolutely right - i've never believed that my issues could be fixed. He's not just fixed the problem, but he also elevated my success on a very crucial question: the order execution, what depends heavily on the right data feed, paired up with the right broker.

It's also very important to him to save money for his customers and tell you how to trade efficiently, so all his answers and suggestions has been driven on that way.

Bottomline, Optimus Futures is the very best i've ever came across and i'm very thankful to Matt for his excellent knowledge and his extraordinary customer service.

Thank you,

Zolie

Zolie, I appreciate your kind words, and it was a pleasure working with you while solving your latency solution.
We find that it could be verwhelming to choose the right data solution for one's futures trading. Therefore, our goal is to provide a simple solution for execution and data while minimizing cost and removing redundancies that do not contribute to faster platform performance and/or trade implementation. Again, thank you for your business and trust.

Hi @mattz

Long shot question - do any of your FCM's support KOSPI200 futures on Korean Exchange? I can see CQG has the feed, but not many support it.

Cheers!
