I was aware that Optimus is moving to a new FCM, starting on Dec 2014, and that ADMIS the new FCM is not supporting Canadian customers.

What I didn't know is that they seem not to accept German customers as well as I got informed about that yesterday from Optimus. Urgent action is now required as soon as possibly as they want me to move to AMP Clearing.

I find it odd to get informend so short before a deadline. Wonder if there are any german traders in the same boat and if there are any other options ?

I had moved my account from Mirus to Optimus in Jan this year and was happy not having any issues so far...

Unfortunately this has come to our attention rather late. We recommended other FCMs that would fit the profile of the customer, platform and fees. If you are not happy with our selection you are free to choose an FCM of you liking.
In the near future we would be able to accommodate all customers including foreign, and I will make this announcement when the time is right.

Yep, same situation here!

Since I'm definitely not going to move my account to AMP (as suggested), I'd appreciate if @mattz could point out some kind of timeline when we can expect to have an FCM at Optimus who will 'accept' German customers again...

So, while I'm still having the possibility to transfer my funds again back to my 'old' Dorman account (now at NT Brokerage), I wonder if it's alternatively possible in the mean time to 'park' the funds at Optimus until a new FCM will take care of German and Canadian customers...of course as long as there wouldn't be too much time in between.

We have a number of alternatives that we will slowly offer, but since there are thing that outside the scope of my efforts, I can not guarantee a deadline. On a different note, due to the consolidation in the industry, it is rather hard to find a retail friendly outlet that will match each customer's needs. Specifically, there are FCMs that will not do any business with specific platforms or match certain commissions, etc. The Canadian customers who have moved to AMP, did so seamlessly and we had no complaints.

I suggest that you drop me an email and we can explore your options.

Hey Matt, Thanks for your message, I am currently with NT brokerage and I use NT , I have lifetime licenses for both NT and MC. I do not see a way to use my current logins to use on both platforms. Do you have any suggestions for the same..

Always glad to help.

As far as I know, CQG creates a separate and unique ID for each platform. This is definitely the case for their demos where you can't just plug one into another. However, your brokerage should be able to create an additional ID, and tie it to the same account.

Alternatively, you can request a Rithmic connectivity which has a universal login to all platforms and tied to the same account. Maybe CQG has it as well, but not as far as I know.

Thanks Matt, I see that your firm is transitioning to ADMIS as a FCM. When do you expect that to complete. What Platforms do they support ? Will the older NT lifetime licenses be supported ?
