We are not going to enter the “Commissions War”. Period! We have always provided our customers with very reasonable commissions the minute we entered the game of discount and online trading. Those who provided what we consider almost breakeven prices have either gone out of business and/or turned from FCM’s to IBs, IIBs to GIBs or a similar path of self-destruction – all in the name of “lowest commissions”. Our inspiration does not come from those brokers that just offer the lowest prices but rather those that have constantly evolved in the industry by introducing new technology while maintaining and growing their client base.

Matt,

This wasnt intended as a comment to you. You already provide discount commissions. This was more in essence to FCMs that charge well over priced compared to ninja and other ibs like you, more relevant to to tradestation, thinkorswim etc...In the end competative rates brings the rates down for consumers....you wouldnt only want one choice of a cellphone carrier or airline...just allows them to jack up the price....you know how that goes.

I can understand Ninja wanting to expand its business but what I don’t understand is the way they are treating prior partners like Optimus. Ray appears to be a straight-forward individual and he did stress that nothing will change for those already with another broker. However, this seems like an attempt to cushion some of the initial negative reaction but the fact remains that he has slammed the door in the face of his more loyal partners such as Matt. I wish Ninja the best but, as far as I am concerned, providing lower commissions can never replace the high quality service that Matt offers and which is certainly rare in the business world...And yes, Matt offers very reasonable commissions.

I see what you mean.

If you look at the landscape of online brokers, those of who have the higher relative commissions are the ones who have the most capitalized traders. TS, ToS,IB, etc Their technology advancements along their support brings them successful traders who demand reasonable commissions, not the lowest of the low. Also, they don't allow aggressive margins and low account minimums.

if you looking to replace TS, look at MultuiChart. I think we can get you good commissions and Rithmic as a data feed. No recurring platforms fees, etc.

Lastly, we always try our best to make sure you are able to execute your trades without having commissions as a burden to your strategies. Commissions can't "eat" into your account to the level where you don't stand a chance to make money. We get that. We will be fair, because we look at you as a long term asset and not an expiring option.

Matt

PS. As far as cell phones..You cant move me from Sprint. I was in Costa Rica in the Jungle, the phone still rang.

multicharts or sierra( with a small monthly fee) is the best option.

I appreciate your kind words. I am glad that d marketing webinars don't soften your belief system.

Just as an FYI, SC package 5 is $27.5 for Optimus, and our Rithmic includes historical bid/ask.
Will explore with MC what we can do.

Will talk to Dennis about it. Most likely will have updates next week.

right on. my first reaction on the news was "WHY?!". Ninja is an excellent platform but there is a conflict of interest going on with Ninja and the FCMs/brokers. i am not saying that Ninja is arrogant because almost MOST of the people trading futures are using their platform (including me) but their actions kinda shows it. because there are already a LOT of automated systems and indicators created with Ninja makes it harder for users to leave that platform. maybe that made them think to put up a brokerage service and add more revenue to the company. at least that's what i think it might be.

as with Optimus, i had no problem with them. they are an excellent bunch of brokers ready to help you out. i have experienced this myself. and Ninja should rethink their decision and business model with the introduction of it's brokerage service. they may lose and gain loyalty in the process but i don't know.

Just my 2 cents.

"You are only as good as the decisions you make."
