i send matt a message... no answer yet

I am in the same boat notebookled.

I have sent Matt three emails and he has ignored them all.

Can anyone who uses Optimus Futures please tell me if there are any platform costs involved with Ninja and CQG feed?
Or for Ninja users, what feed do you use?

Currently I use AMP and get it for free.

Cheers.

You make it sound like I never responded to any of your emails when in fact I have.
As for CQG: We will NOT use CQG Via NinjaTrader directly but will offer a data feed that will allow foreign markets.
When we have an announcement, I will let everyone know.

Lastly, there is no such thing as free data feed.
Data feeds you trade through have a routing fees that are factored into the commissions.

Thank you,

Matt

We do not know who you are in emails so we don't respond any faster because of futures.io (formerly BMT).
We are here because so many people alert me when we have something on our brokerage thread.
You can always use Skype support in the case you are overseas (OptimusTradingSupport)

That is bloody bizarre then.

I got no response to the three emails I sent last week (after you responded to my first one promptly on Wednesday) and then within 20 minutes of me making my post on this forum I got a response to my emails.

Must be a coincidence!

Just recently opened an account with Optimus, gotta say Matt and Jennifer were very helpful and answered all my questions, both thechnical and account related.
I explained Matt how I was coming from Thinkorswim, that is pretty much a whole package. So I was a little confused about dealing with separate brokers, feeds and platforms.

It was a breeze opening the account, they even put me in contact with Ninjatrader.

Optimus customer service is excellent, I just started using them so I can't speak much about the technical aspects, but I don't expect any less.

Is anyone who's using the Rithmic data feed through Optimus having trouble?

I have been connected all day with no problems then at about 12.16pm Chicago time the feed has frozen. No price movement at all. No nothing.

Have re-started Multicharts and connected/re-connected but no resolution.

My Internet connection is fine tested on speedtest.net at 40Mbs so not sure what the problem is. Have emailed Matt/Jennifer and waiting to hear a reply but wondered if I am alone or if others have Rithmic issues?

I have some type of issue going on with Ninjatrader. My feeds froze then NT stopped working. Matt sent out a bulletin about yesterday about Rithmic upgrading its security certificate and it causing some issues. The solution for NT seems to be a reinstall which I really don't want to do. As of this moment I can't even start NT. They may not be related but looks like may be.

Oh yeah I suppose it could be related to that, though I just checked the email and it doesn't mention Multicharts, only Ninja and RTrader. Who knows but the feed has been down about 2 hours now...

Do you happen to know of any website that has the Rithmic network status on it? There own site doesn't seem to have it (or much else) but I would have thought they would have such a thing seeing as it would be useful to clients and 100% related to their service!? In fact it would be very strange if they didn't have it!

I am not aware of any place to get network status. Although I agree could be very useful. It is rare it goes down though. I am reinstalling now will report back if feed is working again.
