Do not use a range chart to make a comparaison instead use a time based interval. I think it's part of the problem. The alignment of range bars from two different platforms can be off at times.

Greetings to all

I ask the community if anyone has seen differences between the information provided by Optimus futures and other brokers as AMP, since I have an account in each one of them and the values vary one or two ticks, and therefore the indicators do not show exactly the same.

Has anyone encountered this?
What data are more reliable?

Thanks

You'll also get variations from the same data provider due to server farms and their feeds. Comparing is folly. Trade what you get.

If i would get systematic differences i would try to get some answers. It's not normal even if different servers are used.

So how do you know that the one you're using isn't correct? How much do you expect to gain if you find an answer?

But I do not understand

If a price goes, eg 1.3125, should always get to that point in any data server. I understand that there is a delay in different data providers, but no difference in prices because all depend on a regulated source, not?.

What data provider you suggest? those based on kinetic or Rithmic?, why one is better than another?

Thank you all for your answers

Try comparing Time and Sales directly, rather than charts with indicators.

Thanks for your interesting charts.
Could you please post time-based charts with the two datafeed and shows us that on identical time-based charts you had eventually different OHLC?

Hello futures.io (formerly BMT) Traders, just a few clarification about the latest topic of Rithmic data.
Some of you have made correct remarks:
1) you need to compare the data on the same platforms side by side so you can see differences, inaccuracies, etc
2) The ultimate test is to compare it to the exchange data during that time, as mentioned - Time and Sales

Other: Rithmic does not have "server farms". They keep their servers in 3 locations: Aurora where the CME has its new data center, East Cermak where the ICE has its matching engine, and the CBOE data center where One Chicago and VIX have their matching engines.

Please keep in mind that Rithmic also serves institutional clients from the same servers that you are trading from.
The accuracy(unfiltered data), latency and stability of data is of top priority at all times.
Those of you who have used it can attest to it's quality and stability.

Thank You.

Matt

I have been on the Rithmic/NT7 combo for the past month, and I have seen first hand how quick it is. I have really liked the data feed compared to a few I have used in the past.
