Does anyone have any experience using NinjaTrader with MB Trading data? Any opinion of MB Trading in general?

Thanks

Currently using NT 6.5 with MBT. MBT market data tends to lag a bit. Would not recommend using MBT data feed for trading. Overall, given the broker choices that NT offers, I'm happy with MBT after nearly 2 years with them.

I have used esignal for data and MB Trading and NT (versions up to 6.5) that combo works well. MBT is a solid firm. They added FOREX a couple of years ago and that works well too.

Currently using IB, but would use MBT again.

I used MBT for forex trading for a year or so. Never tried them for futures, but I do pay about half their commission, so I think they are high.

If you are trading intraday, I would personally stick with a ZenFire broker unless you have a really good reason not to. In my case, I use a TT broker, which saves me about $1 per round-turn. The Trading Technologies feed itself is cheaper than ZenFire & the broker should pass the savings on to you. Using NinjaTrader, you will get all your historical & replay data via the NT servers which will be the recorded ZenFire data.

Personally, I never really looked into staying with MBT when I switched to futures.

All
Thanks for the feedback. Currently I am trading with ThinkorSwim. The trading interface is fairly elementary but functional. I have a lifetime license for NT but ToS does not connect to it. I really do like the ATM of NT.

For those that use TT data feed, do you get historical data? Right now I am mostly trading 15 min bars so I don't think the data feed difference between TT and Zen-Fire is that much of an issue (at least as far as my understanding goes).

Historical data for both ZenFire and TT come from the same place : NinjaTrader. I scalp on a TT data feed. You can load historical data for anything on your instrument list. I've heard that if you want to go even further back, you can change your system clock to add older contract months.
All this applies to NT7 at least- I don't use NT6... never got it to run reliably enough.
You can always download replay tick data from NT servers (Level1 & Level2) , then run the replay with "save chart data as historical" enabled. This can be done without any live connections, but data must be downloaded one day at a time.

I dumped Mirus Trading. I could swear they were stop hunting me. I am good at programming in C# on NT7. I
baught a Forex Robot and I'm going to use their server. I think it's 16 bucks. MBT is a 5 digit ECN with no
trading desk. I guess Felix is the owner and I've only heard good things about MBT. I was thinking of traslating my NT C# code into Meta Trader 4. Does anyone know what kind of code MT4 uses? I am through with the bucket shops. All the time I've been commodities trading, these shops have been playing me. I on to one of the most liquid markets in the world. This robot will trade with 1/10 of my money because of the drawdown and it doesn't use a stop. It set internally how much it will let me loose which I am told isn't much compared to using stops. With the server, I don't have to have a generator at home incase the power goes out. This is cloud computing 101. Also, I've been using this MOZY for backup. Anyone use MOZY? Well , I'm going to be strong and not give up. I know this year will be the year because it ends with a powerful number 11. Let me know what you think about forex. Thanks for your comments.
